One of my greatest joys in my work is the human connection with my Muslim friends. During prayers in the mosque recently, this cute girl wanted to crawl on daddy’s back. Don’t kids do that in any culture? I received permission from Dad to show this. We laughed from deep in our gut together. Additionally another human connection came over refreshments after prayers–I found a new hiking partner. Jaffer wants to hike Tiger mountain with me. Lastly, I refreshed a contact from an Islamic seminary in Chicago. Hope to connect with the dean of students next week when i’m there and connect him to some of my church leaders. Oh, I nearly forgot–the theme tonight in the sermon was all about Mary, the mother of Jesus! ‪#‎joyinbridgebuilding‬
